Hello Incoming Resident! (It feels good to say that is your title now, right!?) — If you’re feeling nervous or overwhelmed by the amount of things that you need to do before you start residency, keep reading.

Are you ready for residency?

You are now an incoming resident…Congratulations! I am so happy and proud of you for deciding to continue your education as a pharmacy resident. As a past resident myself, I know how difficult it can be to finish up those final rotations in pharmacy school, possibly plan a move across the country, get licensed, and prepare to take your board exams.

It’s a lot.

That’s why I’ve created a workshop that will give you the roadmap to prepare for residency and set you up for a successful year!

Get the From Matched to Ready for Residency Workshop!

Get my step-by-step guide on what you need to do now that you matched! Here are some of the things you will learn…

  • The fun is just beginning and you need to be prepared with all the knowledge about your program and new employer ahead of time. I will help you make a list of things to ask for from your program director and human resources to ensure a smooth transition!

  • Getting licensed as a pharmacist can be a long process. I will be giving you a step-by-step guide so you won’t have to worry about making mistakes or missing important pieces of this process that may delay your licensure! (because you are already on a time crunch!)

  • Part of getting licensed includes those pesky board exams. Studying is a must, but I want you to maximize your study time while also enjoying these last days before you begin your residency.

Imagine if…

  • You could enjoy your last days as a pharmacy student and graduation because you had a plan to get ready for residency.

  • You could walk into your first day of residency ahead of the game because you had all your employment details mapped out in advance.

  • You could ask someone who has done this before all your questions about preparing for residency.

What if I gave you a plan to be residency ready?

Your workshop instructor (and past resident)…

Hi, I’m Sierra Richard

I remember the overwhelm that I felt after matching at residency program that required me to move away from my family and friends (including my husband) while trying to finish my pharmacy rotations, graduate, get licensed, and prepare for my board exams…needless to say, I get the feeling.

Since finishing my residency in 2020, I have been a clinical staff pharmacist at a women’s and children’s hospital, precepted student pharmacists, spoke at global conferences including ASHP Midyear Clinical Meeting, and was promoted to a clinical pharmacist specialists for investigational drugs in 2022. I’d say, I’ve had a pretty successful career thus far and I want to help you get the most out of your residency so you can have a thriving career as well.
